Yep, getting a insurance quote, I started thinking in terms of Risk/return, and figured a term policy was +EV.

Buying a new car, the more fuel efficient so and so is +EV.

Adding an additional bathroom downstairs, +EV, fertilizer for the front yard, -EV.
