My only experience at the Frontier was the Mexican resturaunt, it was pretty good.

Damn, I leave a few days before that. I was hoping to be there when it closed.

I kinda grew up there--my family enjoyed staying there when the suite tower in the back was still pretty new. Have some nice memories of that place, despite it being a bit old and dirty by modern standards.

I like it too. Not as good as the one that was in the Stardust, but still pretty good.

This bums me out.

I've stayed at the frontier a bunch of times because it was cheap, clean, and right across from the Wynn. I loved being able to walk 2 minutes to the poker room.

Pretty soon it is going to be negative EV to play in vegas unless you are playing 25-50 and higher. I can't imagine forking out $200 a nights for a frickin' room if your playing a lower limit game where-as you're content to book a daily win of around $500.

I think once City Center is completed and going you will see a whole new thought process for the strip projects up and down the line.
True mega resort never leave the property will be the call of the day.
MEGA PROJECTS will be taking over---

Dang. It was the only place I remember on the strip where I had consistantly won at BlackJack. Deep counts were common and dealers knew it.

Oh well...and speaking of old places - When the heck is Circus Circus going to implode on itself?

Wouldn't you think Cirque Du Soliel would be all over a place like this to have it's own "circus acts"? Imagine Circus Circus with themes from all the Cirque shows in town under one roof...ah nevermind. Kids and Vegas...not worth it.

what is a "deep count"? Is that anything like a deep cut?

Odd terms.
