Default Working out when you\'re sick

Where do you draw the line? At what point do you take the day off and hope to feel better rather than work through it at the gym/practice/etc.?

I've always followed the above the neck rule. If the problem is something like a headache, some congestion, etc you are probably fine for lighter workout. If you've got something like the flu, bronchitis, fever, etc take some rest

if you're working out when you're tired/fatigued, your body release stress hormones, which destroys your muscles. better to skip a day until you feel energized.

Just take the rest. Rest is good for growing muscles.
