Default UB Questions

I have a couple of questions for you. I already have
an account at UB that I set up at least 2-3 years ago
and havent played there since. I am pretty sure but
not certain that I did not sign up with an affiliate.
Is it even worth trying to sign up a second accout
with rakeback.

Also, I am concerned about funding as we all are. As
you may know GamesGrid/TonyG Poker recently shut down
and they offered to transfer my balance to UB, they
are not doing any other types of withdrawals except
transfers.

Could this work as a deposit method in
which my rakeback will still be tracked and I receive
the signup bonus? If I do not recieve the bonus on
this balannce transfer will my fisrt deposit still be
eligable for bonus and is there a way to start
tracking imeadiatly before I deposit so I can gain
rakeback as I attempt along every other US player to
find the best ways to move funds.

Thanks

UB won't let you make a new account if you were already a real money player

As far as TonyG's, I don't know anything about that situation. But yes, if they will transfer it, it would work as a deposit method.

Is this a new change? I posted the same question as the OP a month ago and got this answer.

Ub allows up to 3 accounts per customer.

You can make more than 1 account, but you will always tagged back to the same affiliate you first signed up with.

So if you originally signed up with no affiliate, you can't have a new account with an affiliate, right?

I received this message a few days ago at rakeupdate.com:

[Message] Ultimate Bet and Absolute poker have decided to start charging Bonus's as well as Cashier fee's AGAINST your rake (Just like Full Tilt) ONLY IF YOU ARE A U.S. PLAYER. Anytime you make a deposit or hit ANY kind of bonus (Free money) You will recieve a hit against your rake.
Example: You are getting 20% rakeback, you put in $100.00 into the rake and then get a 60$ bonus. You take your $100 in rake, minus 60$ bonus, you are left with 40$ in rake. 20% of 40$ = 8$ rakeback + the 60$ bonus. (NEVER TURN DOWN FREE MONEY).

At this time, this ONLY EFFECTS U.S. players.

We hope to have an upgrade done soon on Full Tilt, Absolute and UB where you can see exactly what has been counted against your rake.

When does this policy begin and why have there been zero posts about this on 2+2? It seems like a fairly huge change for no one to comment on it.

Was it confirmed that bonuses are deducted for US players at both sites?

My mistake, I've read a about Absolute changing their policies but never saw anything about UB. I don't play at Absolute so maybe I didn't pay enough attention.
