1. How you are currently improving your game

I've gotten coaching in the past and am currently getting coaching now. I read and respond to posts in the uNL forums and I read the other NL forums as well. I've gotten sweats before and I have talk with other 2p2ers over IM/Skype.

I have a cardrunners membership and watch videos frequently. I also have been rereading PNLH.

I review my big hands in PT after every session.

2. Your poker goals

I want to beat NL 100 by the end of the year. Currently I am struggling with 50NL, although I'm getting better. I want to eventually make 10k/month at poker and longterm make poker my sole source of income.

3. Your current stakes and past earnings

I currently play 50nl, having moved up from 25nl last month. I have made roughly 2k from poker.

4. A few examples of good strategy posts you have made

I'm not sure I've made any good strategy posts! :x

But here are a few of my better ones:

5. A little about yourself.

I'm 27, I work in a small casino here in Vegas on the graveyard shift. I have been taking playing poker more seriously and am trying hard to improve. I have been going the gym lately and am trying to get serious about getting in shape as well.

Hey. The final selected 12 - since i felt bad removing two players after my short list came to 12 - players are:

vavavoom

Pat Southern

manupod

alobar

ValarMorghulis

ShipitFMA

runout_mick

Idiotex

Flintoff

WillyT

goofyballer (html)

It took just over 2 hours to go through all the applications. I'm sorry to the guys who weren't picked. I tried to pick the ones i felt would most benefit, so that was a combination of lower stakes, logging a good amount of hours, and clear goals. After the 5 month period i will probably open up all my content to everyone who made an application in the thread.

Hopefully goofyballer can start on the forum soon, in the meantime i'll make some videos, think some more about the best ways of doing this, as soon as the forums up we can get this semi going but i want to start official start around 20th Dec, with goals in place for 1st Jan - 31st May.

Ill challenge myself to do better in 6 month than any of the students in this!

Anyways to hijack this thread, anyone of the serious people in here interested In trying to set up a forum for private hand discussion, so that we can filter some of the "noise" out.

It is obviously not as good as this but if people are willing to put time into it it will have a way better content to noise ratio than the forums offers atm.
