yeah, but its become the accepted way of denoting winrate. Switching it into bb seems like senseless inflation of numbers.

Well, if we Brits can make the change from Imperial to Metric....

So, it's agreed. piBB/100 is the new standard.

It's BB/100 (senseless using ptBB when referring to NL- other than it's the PT default.)

I've been saying this forever but no one listens to me.

From memory, very few (if any) of the most profitable players have such a high PFR% (at least at $1/$2- I'm not so familiar with $2/$4.)

(Also, most of the players that do have a high PFR% are losing players.)

[/ QUOTE ]

Sorry but I totally disagree with this.

[/ QUOTE ]

These are the Top 20 earners from the last 800k hands that I've played.

[/ QUOTE ]

At NL200 and lower, a PFR under 10% is a good way to play.

At NL400 and higher limits in full ring, I Think that a PFR over 10% is EV+.

you guys are all absolutely wrong.

the problem comes from his play in UTG and UTG+1. have a clue.

and to the guy with that sample of a million nits, it tells me A)I should play FTP, and B) You probably have those results because the nits have to play more hands due to their [censored] winrates. And is that the standard PTBB? or the one that's just BB/100 cause I know you can change the option in PT and running at 6ptbb playing 20/5 over 800k hands seems blasphemous.

In my experience, I don't think 5+ ptbb can be achieved long term without at least 17vpip in full ring at 1/2+...

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah his stats are NOT in ptBB/100, they are in big blinds/100.
