Re: 1010 on 7 high board
I really dont think a very str8 forward player is pushing 88 or 99 here after getting 3 bet preflop maybe they are but I would weigh his range much more toward JJ QQ KK and sets.
As played a like a bigger c bet here just for balance if not for anything else, I think that this is a fold its close but im leaning towards folding. |

Re: 1010 on 7 high board
[ QUOTE ]
I think he has 55,77,99-QQ here. This range beats you. (Most likely you will see JJ,QQ here). I fold. Your cbet size sucks btw, I think less than half pot looks weak. I'd prefer 6.5-7 dollars. [/ QUOTE ] Why did you exclude 88 from his range? On this board 88 and 99 are the same thing. You need about 34.7% equity with the rake. You have: 43% against QQ-77,55 39.7% against 55+ 37% against KK-77,55 32.8% against 77+,55 It really depends on what he does with AA and 99. You say he is pretty straight forward. Don't those players just shove kings so they wouldn't have to deal with an ace flopping? I think I'm calling here. As quoted, CB is pretty bad. Make a real bet and this call becomes much easier. Decide before you CB if you want to go with the hand or not. |
