Default AC- Poker and bachelor party suggestions

Heading to AC (first time) next weekend for a bachelor party. Staying at the Borg for the party and on the boardwalk for some poker action before and after.

Any suggestions for what to do for the party itself? Places we should definitely hit up? Avoid? Not everyone gambles (degeneratively) but everyone drinks, so that seems to be the theme. We could be happy sitting around drinking, but I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas for things we shouldn't miss out on.

As far as poker, I've been mostly a live limidonk, slowly breaking into the NL scene. I was most likely going to play the pink chip at the Trop and from what I've read, the 1-3 NL at the Taj. Any other games or rooms I should hit up?

I was also going to try and play some 7CS. Is the Trop 3-6 any good? Or should I find some 1-5? Or is this too much of a nit-fest?

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Oh, and I'll definitely try to get a TR posted as well, but I don't know if I'm the best story-teller.

There's plenty of good poker action in the very casino that you are staying at.

The smaller NL is 1/2, 300 max (not 1/3).

Won't see a small stud game there, I've seen them at the Taj though. My advice is try the game, if you don't like it...move on (that's the beauty of these mega-rooms IMO).

Yeah, I will probably play at the Borg during the weekend when everyone is satying there, but I was looking to play elsewhere on Thursday and Sunday since I will be staying down near the Trop.

Just get the stripper to come to your room. The clubs in AC are awful.

I play $5/10 7CS at the Trop sometimes. It can be a decent game if you catch the right crowd at night/weekends. The 3/6 game is pretty new there (about a month or so), they got rid of the 1/5 game.

3/6 fixed limit is a much better structure than a 1/5 spread game. I'm curious to see how it plays, and if it'll be a regular game.

they put an end to the 1-5 game b/c a bunch of old nits were checking down the nuts to avoid paying rake (so i was told by a dealer the night before they began the 3/6 game) so i would believe it's nothing like the 5/10, which is a much better game from what i've heard.

So no clubs...but does anyone care to elaborate on having someone come to our room?

Bare Exposure would probably be the worst place in Vegas, but it is BYOB so you can pregame there before trying to pickup regular girls. Pregaming at the poker table is also fun. Borgata is the only casino that doesn't serce natural light in plastic cups.

Just get a street walker, I heard they are HOT. Plus they can be quite affordable.

Here is a documentary about it:
