I chose the first option, but I'll stop playing at the slightest hint that my behavior is a problem because I'm a tad neurotic about these kinds of things.

You could have easily just added that poll to your other thread. Posters ususally wait until they've been around a while and have amassed a much bigger post count to start being attention whores.
