Default TT against passive caller; K on board.

Villain is 25/5/.4 over 20 hands. My question here is am I playing the river too weakly? Or is he only calling w/ top pair?

On the river he'll call with any pair, but I think he plays more Kx hands than 8x or pocket pair hands, and probably plays them both the same postflop with that AF.

I would still bet this river. 20 hands isn't enough IMO to classify someone weak-tight and not bet this. Multiway it might be closer to a check.

Hmm, didn't notice it was only 20 hands. Yea, I'd valuebet this, I think we need to discount Kx some due to no action.

*grunch*

20 hands is obviously really small, even with .4 AF. I'll bet the river for value. He might have Kx, but 8x, 4x (not often, though), 66, 77, and a few other hands are also in his range.

Also, I really would think that he would lead the flop if he hit his king or at least show some aggression on the turn. The villain most likely does have some sort of 8x hand most of the time here.

"weak tight" is a pretty nuanced read after 20 hands. What gave you this impression?

I probably would've played it the same way you did.

I'm not sure how much of a value bet it is. What is calling?

8x and 8x only, plus a weakly played 99? Kx and 5x are crushing you now and are obviously a big part of his flop calling range.
