He probably has TPTK here. You have him dominated. |

Re: is this obvious? NLCASH
you need to re-raise more than to $24 on the last raise. make it more as it gives you more information.

Re: is this obvious? NLCASH
I really don't think we get more information from a larger reraise. If he has a 4 I think hes going ai on this flop after I 3 bet a good % of the time. Everything else calls or folds.
The advantage of raising more is to get more $$$ when he has non-4 hand he wants to call with. I'm thinking I should have raised more since its more likely that hes got a T than a 4... I missed getting more monies |

Re: is this obvious? NLCASH
Yea, the turn bet is REALLY bad in my opinion, if he has the T here most players at that limit are gonna pay you off frequently. If he is making it 8 more to you on a reraise, I say you need to make it 24+ more back to him, so I like a raise size of about 36 here, could justify a little more or a little less, but not much I don't think too much less, just my opinion

Re: is this obvious? NLCASH
I like raising 4x bb preflop when out of position, but that's just a personal preference. If you're going to make that last raise, it has to ~$38 in my opinion, especially out of position. I can think of a few situations where this type of raise MIGHT be justifiable in position, but pretty much never when out of position.
At the same time, this is one of those hands where you're either way ahead, or way behind, so the turn card is unlikely to change anything. So, I don't mind just calling his flop raise, and leading the turn. If he's as passive as you say, he's probably going to tell you exactly what he has on the turn then, by either raising with a 4, or calling with a 10. |
