Default Bodog Questions

I just signed up with Bodog and I have a few questions...

1. Is it possible to see what the pot amount was at the beginning of any betting round before any bets were made? (For example in Stars you just move your mouse over the pot)

2. I played a SNG but couldn't find any information for it, such as the payout structure, blind structure, etc. Where do I find this info?

3. Any tips for a new player to make the most of the experience there?

1. I don't think so, you might have to some math in your head for this one.
2. No idea, I only play cash games.
3. I like the site. Not sure how to deposit, I made my only deposit back in the Neteller days. Cashouts only come by check (for US), but they are usually fairly quick.

#1: in settings you can set it to show the total pot at that moment.

#2: In the lobby, when you sign up for a SNG the payouts are listed at the top, above the players names. All regular SNG's pay out 50%-30%-20% of the prize pool if you want to do the math yourself. Beginner SNG's have different structure, that I don't know. As for levels go to the website and look around in the tourny info section.

#3: Search the posts on the forum for this answer. There are many great, detailed posts that you can find that will help you out.

The single-table 10-player beginner SNGs pay 30-25-20-15-10.

Note that placing 5th puts you "in the money", but you actually just get back your buy-in minus the "juice" so you actually take a loss on the tourney.

Thank you very much for your answers.

Man, this site is weird. I've played a good deal on Stars and Full Tilt... Bodog is definitely 'different'.

To those who answered the first question, the option you're describing shows the size of the pot including any bets that have been made in the current betting round. I was wondering if it's possible to see what the pot was prior to bets being made, as you can on Stars and FT.

It seems that there is no 'tournament info' or 'tournament lobby' for SNGs on Bodog, as there is on other sites. When I'm playing three SNGs at the same time of different buy ins, I can't find out which is which!

Also, is there a 'time bank' button on Bodog tables, which you can use to request extra time?

There is no time bank for additional time on the dog.
