You get to a point in STTs where (because everyone is generally horrible) you play your strong hands strong with bets to get all in and you fold when you miss or the board crushes your hand. If your opponent is betting with or without a hand when you have nothing or a weak holding (compared to the board) it doesn't make a difference.

I would say read phil gordon's books (green and blue) - as this will give you a good understanding of basic strategy post flop and will show you how you should have a method of thinking about the game. They are very easy to read and have allot of sound advice (as you play more you may come to disagree with some of what he says). I think these were the two books that helped me most when I first started playing.

PS This will probably be my last post on the STT forum, I have reached my target and I'm moving over to cash. Thanks to all the people who responded to my posted hands and sorry to those I offered advice to.

If anyone asks where that posters gone who's been dishing out dodgy advice for the last few months, you can tell them I'm gone. GL everyone.
