But as Dunkman mentioned, it seems more likely that a smallish re-raise will be interpreted as AA/KK, then will be a shove. If thats right then your range is much wider on a shove (to him), which would make his calling range wider (a good thing for your hand).

I'd assume a player like foolishgolf knows you're committed and would likely put you all-in anyway if he were going to play. So it doesn't seem like his calling range is wider here than a push.

ok, sure. i would never reraise smaller than a push anyway here for the reasons you mentioned. he also understands what youre talking about and realizes that i would almost always push with AA/KK, rather than reraise small. so it's really a non-issue. the choice is between push, call, fold.

Shove. If foolinggolf is very tight early, his reraising range is like JJ+,AK or so, he's def calling a shove with at least QQ+.

Whatever you do here, you portray strength. You can't play too deceptively. By shoving you might get a call from AK and JJ, both of which can get away from flops they miss. Also consider that fooling is getting 1.55:1 odds to calling your shove (assuming OR folds), he has to put you on QQ+ only for a fold to be good.

T390 is about 25% of your current stack, so I don't see the dilemma. Smooth calling would be terrible as you want to be HU with KK. Any re-raise would be a significant portion of yout stack, so you might as well push.

What's awkward here? You have KK and it's 3bet when it gets to you. 4 bet all in preflop and hope at least one calls. If not then you're stack is still up 25%, an excellent result.
