Default AKs played correctly?

This was in a Stars $5r in the second hour. I was new to the table so I didn't have a read on the villian. Was this hand play correctly? Suggestions?

It'd be nice if we could read it. Good work switching to Format: 2+2 Forums

I think you played the hand fine so far.

On the turn though, i will check. I would predict his range to be flush, 33, 55-66, 99-JJ. If the river isnt another club and he checks it, i'd fire out a bet of ~3500 to make him fold the pair i assume he has.

What are repping with a c-bet/check/bet line that you think will make him fold a pair. Our line looks week and the board sucks I'd give up after flop there

Yeah just check, if he checks a club river I'd take a shot, else I'm not putting in any more money.

id just shut it down. when players know no more threat of betting is coming they will call much more often. so river bluffing has to be set up by prior play. checking turn doesn't do it
