Re: This is the weakest Ive ever been.
This is awful. You can't be too confident in the stats after just 30 hands. There is a straight draw and a flush draw on board, it's a blind steal situation, and you have a monster. 3-betting is a bit awkward with these stacks and you would have to reluctantly call a shove, but it would be a much better move than folding. Calling with the intention of getting it in on most turns is fine too.

Re: This is the weakest Ive ever been.
he's 10/7 so far, and even if stats are a bit off from sample size he's still a european non-regular which generally means very passive. party randoms with tight stats just don't checkraise worse hands here. euronits check call 98cc... it's probably difficult to understand if you are used to playing with americans... i mean i still call the flop bet but it's a crying call praying he's a new TAG in disguise and i wouldn't even consider threebetting flop.

Re: This is the weakest Ive ever been.
Yeah lets call the flop and fold the turn because he is absolutely never going to stop betting here. I am sure players at higher levels do, but at 2/4 NL when someone c/rs a flop they follow through on 90% of turns. Calling flop with the intent of folding turn seems dumb. So we either make a read and fold it here or we keep going unless the board texture changes.
Not saying I do this on 100% of flops, but anyone who thinks he isn't c/r and following through on this board texture is not paying attention. |

It's a blind steal. Are you guys missing this? AK is HUGE.

Re: This is the weakest Ive ever been.
I dont mind big folds in general, but this is so terrible from a game theory point of view that it's impossible to defend.
Really, that sample size basically makes him an unknown and if you open like what, 35-40% or more, OTB and folds TPTK on that board to a CR, you're in for some heavy [censored] exploitation. This is clearly a spot where I think we have to stack of a decent percentage of the times, and at the absolute least see a turn. My standard line in this spot whould prolly be to call flop and shove the safest turns, calling some others and mucking the worst to heavy betting. Folding the flop, in any case, is just plain terrible. No disrespect or anything, but thats a fact. |

Re: This is the weakest Ive ever been.
If I believe his stats, I just fold.
Sometimes I call and fold turn. Sometimes I call and call turn. I never call all the way down. If you dont know him at all and the only thing you have is nitty stats over a few hands, I dont hate folding. |
