Default Basic 2/4 AA hand

Villain is 24/19, was raising to 4BB a lot and I repopped and got him to fold 4 or 5 times previously.

Your read has nothing to do with this situation since he didn't raise preflop. CB this flop because if you check behind here you will be lost if he bets out on the turn.

you mean hero will likely be calling a bet from a guy with 2 outs while controlling the potsize while in position?

yea its a great reason to check the flop.

I usually check this flop. Then bet turn and river.

I'd still be the flop $35. He either has suited connectors like 78s, 56s, small pairs 22-88, or KJ or KT IMO. you only lose to 3 hands out of his like... 11 hand range (at least on this flop). If he c/r u, depending on how he plays flush draws or bluffs, i would smooth call and get it in on safe turn, or just shove the flop if he'll call off all his $ with a flush draw. You're ahead like 4/5 times here on this flop i think.
