Default THE Pacific table mod -- now someone step up and do the cards

Decided to actually make a helpful post in this forum instead of just leeching off the other ppl here. I made a Pacific Poker table / cardback mod. But it's for the PREVIOUS version of the software -- you can still get it as shown by a helpful poster in this post

I've always thought their latest upgrade was atrocious...with the all-in button right next to all the others, and NO confirmation. I've seen more than one accidental all-in and been victimized by it myself.

All the images are stored locally, so I just edited them with Photoshop. Here's what it looks like. But I need someone to champion the card mod and make some nice Fozzy or Waffle-style cards. So while I figure out how to host my table/cardback .bmp mods, I'd greatly appreciate it if someone would take on the cards. Someone plz chime in here and announce that they'll give it a go. I've pasted the .bmp card image below too so that perhaps an american photoshop wiz can help us out even if he can't get the Pacific software/media files. (For some reason, Imageshack hosted the deck.bmp file as a .png file...dunno why, but just so u know it has to be in .bmp format)

Luckily Americans can still download the software and do play money there.

Here's the Phatty Liver Deck. Test it on play money first, though I'm pretty sure I got the suits and ranks in the right order. I'll do the waffle deck and a yellow-spade version this weekend. I'll see what Fozzy thinks about converting his deck like I did for AP.

Download the file via the link.

Go ahead Dilz. You can port one or two of my decks if you want.

Fozzy 5.4 Deck. The Pacific software has one hole card partially covering the corner marker on the other card with this deck. You may or may not have trouble with it.

Place the file in Pacific Poker\Poker\media

You can see the blue around the card borders. In the new version of the software, it recognizes that shade as transparent. I tested the decks with the new software and they worked (transparent card borders in game).

However, I just downloaded the old version, and now the blue is showing up. I don't know what the problem is, but if I can't figure out how to make the card borders transparent I'd suggest just opening the files in mspaint and filling the blue in with pure black.

How do you "fill in the blue with pure black"?

Open up the deck.bmp file in MS Paint and use the fill function on the blue grid. Should be a two-click job.

Here are the mods that i created (which i showed in the original post in this thread). It's a table mod, and the card-back mods to make them yellow and stand out more:

http://www.mediafire.com/?dbjmjt2xj5b

You just need to drop them in the pacificpoker/poker/media folder, although i would definitely back up the existing files, since this is my first time sharing mods like this and I don't want the responsibility if they don't work for u although i don't see why they wouldn't.

* a reminder, they only work on the OLD version of the pacific software, which i use b/c i like it better.

good luck,
