Let's get some more Missouri/Kansas irrelevant factoids going:
My home town - Blue Springs, MO - has the world's shortest St. Patrick's Day parade. Four people walk across Main street from one bar to another. James Ellroy, author of L.A. Confidential, The Black Dahlia etc. willingly moved from LA where he'd grown up to Mission Hills, KS - a suburb of KC. He liked the "normalcy". In Missouri, single men between the ages of twenty-one and fifty must pay an annual tax of one dollar. I used to deliver drugs and pharmaceutical supplies to NE Kansas. I once delivered 4 cases of KY-Jelly to the Ft. Leavenworth military prison. Makes you think.
