you have to imagine that those people at absolute that have been (almost definately) reading these threads are starting to get a little concerned that we've figured out so much so fast

this might be an episode of south park one day at this rate

To quote Pulp Fiction "lets not start sucking each other's dicks yet".

The reality of the situation is that what has been accomplished so far is impressive but not neccasarily signifigant. The only reason we know anything is because they screwed up, and I imagine they won't be making the same screw up anytime soon. There very well could be 362 other users that are much better at disguising their cheating. Nobody knows if APs traffic has been lowered because of this and nobody has any real ideas on how to detect this form of cheating in the future.

Until something tangible is done we're all going to be cursed with the following problem:

Say you're sitting in a game and some guy just seems to be owning your ass with some really good calls and folds you're gonna be wondering,

1. Is this guy a really good poker player? (i should leave the table)
2. Is this guy some donkey that is running good or getting lucky? (I should stay)
3. Can this guy see my cards? (I should leave the site i'm on)

As we all know, even a small hit to a poker players confidence can greatly affect his game.

that really is huge that BW would do something like that.
to put naked poker or joy poker or w/e else on that list is meh. but that's a pretty big deal to list a site like absolute.

for people reading this thread who don't know what bonus whores is, it's basically a site that has tons and tons of traffic from people looking for bonuses at different sites. there are going to be a lot of people seeing this now and imo them adding that is going to be a gigantic boost to this thing going further toward a resolution.

I got the email headers from Marco.

The AP email originated from: 216.94.0.217

I can't seem to figure out what I can know from that IP. Is anyone who's really good with networks out there?

nslookup tells me it's an AP address:

217.0.94.216.in-addr.arpa name = mail.absolutepoker.com.

But that isn't really interesting. Is there anything else to be learned here?

If someone could come up with a few pages of crucial pictures and hand histories (the most damning ones) in a pretty package (not raw hh's) that someone could look at in 2 minutes with moderate knowledge of poker/online poker and immediately undestand the situation.

I'm going to be playing at caesars tommorow and there are a few guys i am planning to share this stuff with that, one is russ rosenblum who is a pretty well respected guy and isn't endorsed by anyone so he has no conflict of interest in this

Also, re: that debate about the creator of the excel file and the name that snagglepuss found in the HEX editor...

I just saw the original email sent to Marco.

And the guy who created the file is the person who sent it to Marco.

So we know who pasted the info into the spreadsheet. The name in the excel file is not some random guy who installed excel on his computer.

Also, according to Adanthar, he thinks this guy who made the file is a 30 y/o system admin in central america (based on google searches of his name). So this is probably not a random support donk.
