Default Short Stack Strat- WSOP Main Event

Just got moved to the table, I just pushed after a SS went all in in front of me with JJ.

He ended up showing A8s and winning the pot leaving me with about T$48,000

No Reads.

Blinds 2500-5000 - 500 Ante 9 handed

Big Stack $1,000,000 + chips makes it $ 15000 to go UTG +1

Assuming a hand range of AA-77, AK-ATs, KQs, QJs, 9Ts, 78s

I have 99 in MP.

Is this a shove or fold?

You have 45.2% and you need ~44.5%, but that doesn't include the guys behind you who still need to act. Also, your range makes no sense. Against a more reasonable range based on your given range, you're more like 49.2%, which is probably a push.

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 49.239% 48.57% 00.67% 95641348 1317339.00 { 9c9d }
Hand 1: 50.761% 50.09% 00.67% 98638934 1317339.00 { 77+, ATs+, KQs, QJs, JTs, T9s, 98s, 87s, AQo+, KQo }

You are about even versus villain's range. This is cEV+ with blinds and antes. Someone else may play, which is probably bad, as they might have a big hand, but they also might isolate, giving you better pot odds.

I might just fold and look to pushbot rather than gambling versus an early position raiser, even if it is slightly cEV+.

Your range is most likely off, but 88 is probably a shove here too.

I just don't want to take a slightly cEV+ gamble for all my chips. I think there is more value to staying in the tournament. I want to make plays with FE.

Wow, I think 99 is way too strong to fold here.

It's late in the MAIN EVENT, players will fold to your pushbots too much to shove here. Unless big stack is lag, I would fold.
