Shove pf

Almost did, but I thought that if I called and didn't hit, I would still have another round or two to look for better cards, and still be just 1 double up from being right in there with most of the pack., and if it did hit something ( like it did ,) then I could feel much better about shoving ....

Has UTG been limp folding much?
I think its an auto push preflop, its over a quarter of his stack to call preflop and if hes been seeing alot of flops then you should be well ahead of his range

Sayin that I find a fold here if i got here this way

Def push pre, as played, fold to any action postflop. The best hand (for you) you'll get called by at this point is an overcard with a straight draw, maybe a small pp, with a straight draw possibly. Everything else has you crushed.

There's no guarantee you'll see a better hand before you're down to 2 BB or less, and then you've gotta stick it in to just get back to where you are now. Push it now, and if you lose, then play again and look for spots to pick up chips earlier.
