Default Photos: Your Commute

Stop me if you've heard this one before.

I haven't seen a Photo assignment in a while, so maybe octopi and others would like to use this one?

I get and walk out of my house, usually after a piece of toast with peanut butter on it:

I walk down a street or two on the way to the train station:

This is where I get groceries on the way home, in the morning its always closed:

CRAP I'm late...better run up this hill to the station...

Phew, just made it on the train. Wish I remembered to get coffee, maybe I can sleep?

ZZZZZZZZZZZhuh? Oh not my stop yet ZZZZZZZZZZZ

OK here's my stop, a totally different city. Now I have to wait for the Light Rail...hey look there goes the train I was just on, in the opposite direction!

I get off the Light Rail train...now I have to walk up this hill to my office building...first I have to walk down the track a bit...

It's in the woods, hope it doesnt rain more or it'll flood this pathway!

Finally made it, take the elevator up five floors to my little crevice, where all the magic happens:

or not. Walk over to my officemates desk...what a slob.

At least I have a beautiful view! Sometimes I can see a hawk whirling over the roof, sometimes it's just a crow.

What does your commute look like?

I'm sure there's something interesting on that drive...I used to go from Northen VA to Northern Mo County MD every morning, one of the worst stretches of traffic ever. The beltway was ugly, but there were cool little things to see, usually trashed or splattered on the side of the road. Take me a picture of that.

Awesome series GA. I think it's an awesome idea for a thread if people will actually do it.

I had planned to mount my camera in my car and take a picture every once in a while when I drove from Pittsburgh to San Diego. I never did though and bummed at myself for not doing it. Even though I didn't see much, I would have been able to create a neat video slideshow with it.

I'm still currently jobless, but as soon as I get one, I'll definitely do this.

yawn.. roll out of bed, drink some old propel, look at my funny hair in mirror..

walk down long dark hallway

go to bathroom, brush teeth.

walk towards computer room, occasionally sit outside with feet in the pool reading.

sit down at computer to commence time wasting.

Yeah, I've seen that and it's really neat. It's where I got the idea for a slideshow.
