UF/Illinois bowl game? Gogogo

How awesome would this be? Yes, this must happen.

Illinois has to beat N'western first, which is important

remember, Illinois somehow had a big enough letdown after Penn St and Wisconsin to lose to Iowa this year---I'm pretty sure you saw the Hawkeyes get the better of both lines of scrimmage in that game

But, the talk around the inner circles is that Florida under Meyer v Illinois under Zook is a big possibility

oh yeah, Florida has to win as well

I left quickly after the game... did Todd Boeckman get the Illini player of the game? Jesus Christ, he is awful. I've been saying it all season. Give Boeckman a bad game, and you are screwed. Defense- where the hell were you? Pathetic. Then the bs non-fumble was icing on the cake. All together a perfect storm. The timeout on the punt, awful.

Aww well. At the beginning of the season, I was worried about 3 games and this being a rebuilding year. A win next week is more than I anticipated, so I'll try to keep from getting too down. We still have a great shot to beat Michigan, especially with Henne and Hart not looking at 100%, and Mallett making Todd Boeckman look amazing by comparison.

Beat Michigan, win the Rose Bowl. One time.

Kansas vs. Oregon in the NC Game plz.

[/ QUOTE ]

god, that was awful. i started believing that this team could do something after that beautiful penn state game. not to mention the way they completely shut down mich state. the weakness reappeared against wisconsin and today the defense was absent for the 1st time all season.

[censored] it!

as long as they beat michigan next week i'll be okay with everything.

OSU -- 28 game regular season winning streak comes to an end.

and to the haters out there... how can you hate such a beautiful team like ohio state? is it just jealousy? terrible reason.

Awesome! I've been pulling for Kansas all year, but now that Oregon has moved up to #2, I really would like to get rid of the leapfrogging danger

Keep me posted please! Also, how do the teams actually look? Is the score representative of the play so far?

BJJ:

TD Kansas. 17-14 now.

The game is pretty close. OK St is playing with them and are not being dominated, though they do appear to be somewhat outclassed. I do sniff a bit of upset potential, but only if a few bounces go OK St's way. (If that makes sense.)

Thanks for the updates guys! At least Cal/USC isn't a terrible game, but I really don't care about it at all. Definitely sounds like I'm getting the wrong ABC game. *sigh*

20-14 Kansas

the only question is if Oklahoma St can keep up, because it looks like Kansas will score all night

Okie St might have took a hit with Bowman taking a real big shot on a flat pass last possession

Bowman had been playing great pulling down 2 big jumpballs
