Party 600 - bottom set in limped pot, nit shoves into my strong line
Not quite limped, but min-raised by habitual min-raising fish.
Button is 23/5 over like 30 hands, been quiet. I make the strongest show of strength ever, and he doesn't care. Re: Party 600 - bottom set in limped pot, nit shoves into my strong l
you beat: 98, draws like JTs, Axs
beats you: 99, 88, 67 but he raises 5% of hands, which makes me belive, even postflop he's passive, so draws he would play more passive -> i think it's a fold, cause you're beat most of the time of course it's a small sample(30), but i think it's enough to give you direction of how he plays |

tough spot. what s your image here? [/ QUOTE ] I was about 10 hands in, and I had played just one hand where I stacked a different TAG when he bluff-shoved river and I called with set. |

Re: Party 600 - bottom set in limped pot, nit shoves into my strong l
Why would you c/r the flop and fold to a shove? Either call villain's flop raise, fold, or raise/call but definitely not raise/fold.

30 hands isn't enough for me to fold a set.

Re: Party 600 - bottom set in limped pot, nit shoves into my strong l
This is pretty close, and I probably don't end up folding, but if there was ever a spot to do it, this is it. Let's assume his range is (JdTd, 8d7d, 98s, 99, 88, 76). I don't see this guy doing this with anything else, so we can't be in great shape here.

Re: Party 600 - bottom set in limped pot, nit shoves into my strong l
I stick it in, don't think about it so much. Vs an overset u can just say that its a cold deck and vs the str8 u can suck out. Nice.
Nah, but draws, AA/KK(maybe), 2 pair makes a good portion of his range so I call. |
