I think you're missing the point. It's linked in *your mind*. Therefore nothing is ridiculous if you explain it. I'm not saying they look alike or act alike in real life. Like Bruce Springsteen and Bob Seger will always be linked with me because I heard both their music about the same time and mainly their initials.

i think i used to get alobar and aloysius mixed up long ago cause of the "alo..." names and they both make reasonably intelligent posts. but i might just be making that up, it was a long time ago.


also does getting myself confused with mason malmuth count?

mmbtone and mebenhoe always threw me off. Both good posters, but I always would mix them up.

90% of people without an avatar get lumped together as the same person to me.

I think I used to get Blarg and Jakethebake confused a long time back.

Despite their differences, I've also gotten guids/Blarg confused on NUMEROUS occasions. I still can't differentiate some parts of their personalities... I'll forget which is staunchly Republican, which writes endlessly on pretty much any topic he can find, etc.

I'm pretty sure I like one of them, but I don't know which.
