Default More Fun Slowplaying

So, I hate slowplaying quads. I hate it. But this seemed like as good a time as any.

Bellagio 30-60. Button is a retard, SB is a 50's Vegas local lady who actually plays pretty well. Her name is Peggy, if that matters.

Preflop:
Folded to retard who raises. SB 3-bets, The Dude 4-bets from the big blind with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. They both call.

Flop: (12 SBs) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players)
Peggy checks, The Dude bets, retard folds. Peggy calls.

Turn: (7 BBs) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Peggy donks. The Dude calls.

dont you want to check it through to see if someone either catches something or wants to take a stab at it on the turn?

Think if you were the Dude's opponent. What does it look like if he 4-bets from the BB and then checks the flop? might as well turn your hand over because they see AA, KK, AK or a 9 if you do that, nobody wants to get trapped.

Dude: A+++

That's the Fox Corollary: fast-play quads on the flop, slow-play them on the turn.

I think this is fine vs Peggy (assuming I'm remembering her correctly).

We're giving her TT-QQ specifically, putting her on a B/F line knowing she will call a river bet?

Well, I'm guessing even smaller like 88/77 too. But yeah, I'm assuming this is why we are only calling the turn.

But I think the turn depends on a few play styles:

1) Is she a value-town monkey?
2) Does she think you're a showdown monkey?
3) Does she think you're a lagtard?
4) Could she have nut flushie, 77, AK or KK here?
5) Could you have nut flushie here (I'm guessing yes).
6) Would she check-call any scary river card but fold anything less than TP on the turn?

The key here is that this line makes it most likely you get to show your hand down and say "two pair." Conversely, if you don't get to show your hand down, turn it over anyways because OMGQUADS. And then everyone can nod their heads about what a great poker player you are.
