Default A tough one against Marcel

I got so much flak for posting that hand last week involving Marcel that I figured I'd post another one. (by the way, I never intended to imply that Marcel was a poor player, I think he's easily in the top 10 of the 20/40 players at the Borg as is evident by the fact he's still there after years and years.)

So onto the hand involving the worst player in the world....

Two terrible limps, Marcel raises in the sb, I call K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in the big.

4 ways. .

Flop J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Marcel checks? I bet, everyone and their mothers cal.

Turn 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Marcel checks? I bet, everyone and even their grandmothers call.

River 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Marcel checks? And I?

I'm more interested in what you all think Marcel has here and what I should do accordingly.

I don't see how Marcel's hand can be your concern. Easy bet on the river because terrible players can have all sorts of hands, and you can fold if they raise.

Er? I check river. What in the world could everyone be calling down here with, an 8, Ace-high? Are they going to call you with A8/A4 when the flush card hits the river?

What could Marcel have here? I didn't read your other post, so have no idea on how he plays.

I don't know Marcel but is 3-betting him preflop a mistake? I'd do that.

Then um, of course you gotta bet that river. If he had a flush draw he woulda c/r the flop for value.

Marcel has AQ, AK, KQ, maybe 99, TT assuming he's a tight raizooor

i would think he has 1010 99 AK AQ yo he would bet flop or raise at some point a hand that beats you
he would prolly bet flush draw on flop right yo

Preflop: I probably check here too, although there is a lot of merit to 3betting if Marcel will raise light preflop, and especially if there's any chance of getting the limpers to fold.

Flop: The check is a little suspicious, but this guy may just be palying passively with KQ or some other hand that missed the flop.

Turn: Easy bet.

River: Keep firing. The terrible players could have anything, and if this guy Marcel is halfway decent he won't have a flush because he would have either bet or check/raised his flopped draw.

I know nothing about how Marcel plays, but I would put him on two overcards. My guess is he raised preflop for value; figured he had no chance of taking down the pot with a continuation bet, but had enough odds to peel closing the action on both the flop and turn; and plans to check/fold the river unimproved.

Just my opinion...

Real easy bet here against Marcel. He mostly plays his A game which is pretty decent, but he also has his B and C games which are pretty bad. I don't really see any way he has you beat here, and he will pay you off here with a bunch of holdings. Anyway, whatever he has he played really bad.

I'd bet/fold. Given that no one has raised in this multi-way pot, no one ranks to have a flush draw I have no idea what Marcel has. Maybe something like 99 or AK

Is the 3bet with the intention of folding out the limpers ? Because they won't fold.
