2/4 wtf spot against nit
Villain here is rockets23, a really nitty reg who runs like 13/7. He seems to be a nut peddler and plays pretty straightforward. I havent really been out of line at all.

Re: 2/4 wtf spot against nit
I don't think he takes this line w/ AA or 99. He has to know that TT is a hand in your range, and so are many sets on this board. So for him to be c/r'ing all in on the turn, he is showing a lot of strength.
I mean does he think your betting and calling w/ a hand like QJ? Would he play a 2pair hand this way? I think not, and I think most if not all 2pair hands here are not in his range. Especially, since you said you haven't been getting out of line. If you had been getting out of line, or he viewd you as Laggy or something, then this is a lot closer. Edit: If he would occasionally call your 3bets light then this hand becomes more complicated. We can then add hands liek AJss into the mix and conversly hands like JTs. Yet, if we keep with the assumption that he is a on the nitty side, then I think his range here to be c/r'ing the turn is JJ,KK,TT. I don't think he does this play w/ bottomset 999. |

Re: 2/4 wtf spot against nit
While I havent really gotten out of line this session we have played a fair bit together so he probably has a somewhat accurate view of my play.
Also this is like the first time Ive ever tangled with him (that I can remember) |

Re: 2/4 wtf spot against nit
meh, I think I call, but I'm not really sure what I hope to see him turn up with. Just seems a little strange for him to show up with 10 10 here.

Re: 2/4 wtf spot against nit
He has to know that to call his turn c/r you have to have a very very strong hand. So maybe he is making this play on the turn w/ pair+Fd?
I mean if you held a T, how would you play the turn? Lead or go for c/r? |
