50 NL- Top and bottom pair not beating much?
Not many reads on villain because i was multitabling but i did see him play this hand - after calling a raise in the CO pf, he open pushed into a $9 pot for $24 with 94o on a K 9 4 board and doubled up.
hero has been more LAGgy than most. onto the hand. Hero raises to 1.75 with AJo CO calls, BTN calls A Q Jr hero bets 5.5, CO moves all in for 40 total, BTN folds. hero??? |

Re: 50 NL- Top and bottom pair not beating much?
As played I think you have to fold and find a better spot. You might be ahead here and if you like variance I think you can find a call as he could have an ace and a draw or QJ etc.
edit: didn't see two people called your raise..like the flop bet. |

Re: 50 NL- Top and bottom pair not beating much?
I think if he's pushing with any ace and any pair + draw combos, this is a snapcall.
but the real question is putting him a range that calls pf. wouldnt he 3bet AQ/QQ/JJ? I want to say yes, but I don't think i have seen him 3bet yet |

Re: 50 NL- Top and bottom pair not beating much?
Not everyone 3 bets AQ etc. alot of people smooth call w/ AQ and try and flop 2 pair. he would probably RR QQ but maybe not JJ. He has shown to call raises w/ really bad hands which implies he is a station which means he probably rarely 3-bets. I don't think he puts alot of thought into what you have so he is def playing his cards, I would discount a combo draw as the board is rainbow. I do think QJ is in his range, thats why I said if you enjoy variance you can find a call, but if not, just take his money later when you flop a set..
