What\'s the deal with Red Bull in AC
Why are some casinos so reluctant to serve Red Bull in AC? Taj and Showboat are good about it, serving it like any other drink, but Tropicana asks for some ridiculous $5.50 surcharge for it, and Borgata doesn't serve it at all in the regular stakes room. What's the deal here, it's not like a can of Red Bull is that much more expensive than a bottle of beer that they all happily serve for just the tips.

They don't serve Red Bull at FW poker room either but you can buy it at the bars, it has to be cost.
"not that much more" is something like twice as much. I don't know what Red Bull's policy on tap is, but assuming you can't buy barrels of it, they're going to be paying close to three times as much as they are for beer. |

Red Bull is very expensive. It's normally like $2 for an 8oz can. That's about the same price per ounce as Jim Beam.
And if you've never tried Red Bull, count yourself lucky. |

Red Bulls are great. I'd of never made it through my wife's emergency surgery a few months back without 'em. Well, like thirty of 'em. It took me about three days to stop shaking.
There's more caffene in a cup of black coffee BTW. For some reason, I can drink pots of coffee with little effect but one bull and I'm FLYING. |

Re: What\'s the deal with Red Bull in AC
I don't know why some people make such a big stink about Red Bull. It tastes like caramel soda, and it really is very effective at what it claims to do, even if you're sleepy to the point of constantly nodding off. Coffee doesn't do that to me. However, you shouldn't abuse it by drinking too much or mixing it with alcohol.
As for price of Red Bull, back where I live, I can get a case of six bottles of Corona for something like $7, which is also how much 4-pack of Red Bull costs. It doesn't seem like a drastic enough cost difference to deny us the essential poker room drink, and certainly it doesn't justify the ridiculous $5.50 charge at the Trop. |

I prefer the new Rockstar Juiced with guava. If it didn't cost so much I would drink it all the time.
