i am not sure where you guys play, but i play various live mtt's weekly, and i just don't see that many big hands. i have only seen pocket kings or aces maybe 6 or seven times in my last dozen or so tourneys. i ran into a guy the other night who must believe in this strategy. deep stack tourney, 15,000t to start, blinds 100/200, and i pick-up kk in mid position. folds to me, i raise to 800, folds to sb, who goes all-in for 13k. he won a whopping 1k with his aces when i folded. great play. i just run bad.

Read a book called "Kill Phil". It expands greatly on Sklansky's "The System" he discusses in TPFAP. While the system is not sophisticated, There is something to it. I fooled around with it for awhile and I got me very deep in 3 MTTs.
