Default $200nl 3b pot AT

Just sat down, no stats on either villain.

Party Poker, $1/$2 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

UTG: $199
MP: $71.50
CO: $324.54
Hero (BTN): $195
SB: $263.75
BB: $170

Pre-Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BTN)
2 folds, CO raises to $6, Hero raises to $24, SB folds, BB calls $22, CO calls $18

Flop: ($73) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players)
BB checks, CO checks, Hero?

Seems like an obvious betting situation. But apart from protection from vulnerability (J,Q,K, FD), is there really any reason to bet this?

Whats calling us.....99, KT, JT at a push?

I'm not saying you are wrong if you think you should bet it, I just see little harm in debate. I'll stick the turn up soon.

Im not betting. BB scares me.

I think its close if just CO calls but I still think you should bet when there only 2 on the flop

Exactly why I'm worried. BBs will call with TT, JJ, QQ, KK, even AA. Sometimes AK and AQ. My instant thought is that we would get check raised, and is that definately a fold?

If we check we may induce a stab by a weaker hand, but is that a good thing if we are undecided of our hands value?

I think I check here too. BB's flat call looks pretty strong to me. I'd also consider folding if BB lead out strong on the turn.
