Default Ok....I\'m confused now...

9 handed live. Villain is slighty tricky, will stab at pots on the flop and fold to aggression, will usually SD the winner.

UTG2 limps, CO limps, I raise with 77. SB calls, BB calls.

Flop Q,7,4 rainbow. UTG2 checks, CO checks, I bet, SB raises, folded to me, I 3 bet, SB caps.

Turn 10. SB bets, I raise, SB 3bets, I call.

River A. I check/call.

Did i slow down too early, too latew? Do i play it more aggressively, more passively?

Does slightly tricky villain fastplay strong hands or limp QQ? I think you can cap the turn and bet the river (or just call if he leads again). I think you beat two pair more than you lose to an overset.

I don't raise this preflop. Maybe I'm wrong of course.
I think you can cap the turn (villain didn't play preflop like he had QQ)
and lead the river.

Don't care for the raise pre-flop.
This is 44 or two pair way more often than it is QQ or AA, keep raising.

with your preflop raise he probably puts you on overpairs.

Likely he has two pair here therefore i cap turn and call reraise on the river as he could be slowplaying pockets if he keeps aggro going.

I wouldn't raise this guy preflop with two limpers in front.

I play flop the same way.

I'd cap the turn. There are no straight or flush possibilities, so the only hands that beat you are QQ and TT.

grunch

I think you should cap the turn, I would expect him to raise QQ preflop and thats the only hand that beats you on the flop. He could have 1010 but I don't think he caps the flop with that. I feel you're way ahead in this hand and should be capping the river.

Why are we raising pf?

As played, 44 is way more likely than QQ. Put in more monies.

I think online this is standard. Live i think its table/player dependant. The table was quite tight at the time.
