$16: JJ facing big open early
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)
Hero (t1480) UTG (t1560) UTG+1 (t3140) MP1 (t910) MP2 (t1600) CO (t1970) Button (t1370) SB (t1470) Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. UTG calls t30, 2 folds, MP2 raises to t150, 2 folds, SB calls t135, Hero raises to t1480 Is this good? After the SB called I figured the pot was inflated enough already to make a push worthwhile. Shove or call and why? |

Re: $16: JJ facing big open early
I like calling, I'm slightly more apt to put villain on a hand since he's raising after a limper. I think you're not ahead enough to shove this early. I call and see what villain does on the flop.

Re: $16: JJ facing big open early
It's fine imo once SB called.
I only call if SB folded. |
