On the turn he probably has nothing, trips, or a flush. I don't like check/calling because it gives his nothing an easy opportunity to catch up, so how should I be sizing my bed? If he raises, should I be trying to get all-in? |

Re: $16: Turned trips on flush board
Any reasoning behind that? It's pretty easy to fold if a fourth heart falls, so I don't mind letting him draw without any implied odds.

so how should I be sizing my bed? [/ QUOTE ] I recommend a king, if your room fits it. [ QUOTE ] so I don't mind letting him draw without any implied odds. [/ QUOTE ] Then why bet anything at all? To be a nit: villain always has implied odds, they're equal to at least the odds he's getting to call your turn bet. 2/3 pot isn't terrible by any stretch, though. I think you have to c/f the river cuz any sane opponent who called your turn bet has you beat. It's certainly possible he has something like KT or 99, but it's too unlikely to call a decent villain river bet. |
