Anyone pick this up today...thoughts? I just went to order it online but it is oos at CC for pickup and shipping. I might go over there but I can't drag myself away from Ocarina at the moment.

I picked it up -- I've only played a little bit past the demo parts. Yes, it's still awesome so far. I was going to start another (** OFFICIAL **) thread on this, but then I realized I wouldn't want to read that thread for fear of coming across any spoilers. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

To anyone who gets the game, if you just let it sit and roll the little intro movie at the beginning, there's a pretty cool scene that plays out with a Daddy+Sister involved.

I read somewhere (possibly in this thread, or linked in) that the demo included some more advanced weapons that you wouldn't get until later in the game. Looks like the fire plasmid is one of them. I noticed a couple other things too.

when i found the fire plasmid i installed it over the electric and lost it [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] I'm such an idiot.
Game is fantastic so far!

theres a pc demo out right now too if anyone is interested.. from what i hear you need a beast of a computer to run it at max settings but if you can do it the lighting and water are supposed to be breathtaking.

Yeah, my laptop couldn't run it at max, and seemed a little slow at even the lowest, but I was running a bunch of other stuff at the same time. Recommended vid card is 512 MB :X

Been playing all today. Just quit since my gf went to bed and she was having fun keeping up in the story with me. Thing I was most concerned with is whether or not the full game would be able to keep the pace of the demo. Well, the complete game rocks the demo. 10/10 easy. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I just keep feeling like I'm not taking full advantage of all the plasmids.. I'm only using a few key ones and never switching teh secondary ones around.
