Default 25NL - Set over set, did I get too fancy?

I've noted before the start of this hand that villain raises 4x with premium high cards and 3x with more speculative hands such as SCs or mid PPs.

Did I get too fancy with the turn C/R? and Could I have really gotten away from this hand if I took another line on the flop?

There isn't any getting away from this I don't care what line you would have taken on the flop.

I think this is a rare occasion for a flop donk lead. he could easily be open ended or raise you with KQ or better which is what you want before your equity can drop at all. but yes just a cooler, no folding allowed here.

This isn't a bad hand. Whatever you don on the flop, as long as your are aggressive, should get you all in when villan's has QQ. You should not get away from middle set. Think about it, you shouldn't be looking for reasons to fold TT on a QT34 rainbow board.

Look at it this way:

Here is a list of villan's possible hands that you have beat:
AA, KK, JJ, AQ, KQ, KJ, QJ, QT, J9, 99-55, 44, 33, 43, 22.

Here is a list of villan's possible hands that have you beat:
QQ

Don't go looking for reasons to fold your ultra-strong hands. You have pretty much all of villan's range dominated. Easy call.
