Question about betfair.com

I am new to the business and I am just doing some researches on the area. I found the site (betfair.com) today and they have better lines than every bookie Ive found so far. So the question is why is anybody betting at williamhill or sportingbet for example ? Any problems with cashouts ? Any other problems ? Something Iam missing there ? (as an example one poster posted that he took 32-1 for Czech's to win WC but he could took 39-1 at betfair.com right now).

US bettors arent allowed to bet on the exchnage.

and yes they do have good lines compared to other sportsbooks.

Hi,

I use Betfair a lot (I am UK though) and for certain types of bets they always have good odds...usually ones like you mention, top scorer, competition winners and in general bets where there are many possible outcomes. When it gets down to the actual matches (Team Vs Team) the odds are not always so hot as you have to take into account the 5% commission on winning bets.
