Default A couple of overpairs versus resistance hands

Villains in both hands are your basic run of the mill 25NL players. Too loose, too passive. But, they aren't complete clowns.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

BB ($38.45)
UTG ($6.15)
MP ($55.40)
Button ($6.20)
Hero ($21.70)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $0.10.
UTG calls $0.25, MP calls $0.25, Button calls $0.25, <font color="#CC3333">Hero (poster) raises to $1.4</font>, BB calls $1.25, UTG folds, MP calls $1.25, Button folds.

Flop: ($5) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $5</font>, BB calls $5, MP folds.

Turn: ($15) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $6</font>, BB calls $6.

Too weak? Pot seems to be getting awfully large for just an overpair.

River: ($27) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>

Blech. What's your line here? Push? Small blocking bet? Check and let draws bluff at it?

Default Re: A couple of overpairs versus resistance hands

H1: Your turn bet sucks, pot it (which is a push I believe) or checkraise all in. Probably push if they're loose-passive. This is a place to play a big pot. Check the river and evaluate.

H2: Reraise more preflop. This would depend on the timing of UTGs bet a bit, if he instapushed I'd be more inclined to fold. Realistically the pot is too big for me to get away from KK at 25NL though.

You can't possibly fold the 2nd hand for like $12 more. The pot is really huge
