Re: Flopped set in raised multiway pot
I am definitely leading out on this flop, and jamming as much as possible with so many scare cards that could come on the turn.

Re: Flopped set in raised multiway pot
just bet into a nice familypot like this, everybody is calling and someone is likely to raise. If I had a very agressive maniac to my left I may check and hope that he bets allowing me to bag the pot.

Re: Flopped set in raised multiway pot
The converter is messed up or something. If they are calling PF for 1.00, isn't this 1/2. Does everyone call this in SB? I guess MW for set value alone, so if I flop a set I bet out here because of the straight draw. If raised, I call and re-evaluate on turn. I might ck/r a turn card that doesn't connect. Some reads would help as always. 2 limpers before the PF raise could have hit at least a straight draw, so 3-b may be better?

[ QUOTE ]
Does everyone call this in SB? [/ QUOTE ] Against a raise and 2 other limpers/callers you can call any pp for set value. In SSSH they advocate calling a riase in the SB as long as 1 other player than the raisor has entered the pot. @ OP I agree with the rest bet/3-bet. - The pot is multiway and everyone might check to the button who raised preflop. Since he will prolly check overcards you need to bet to be sure a bet goes in. - You have 3 players between you and the PF raisor. A bet will trap them if the PF raisor raises. Compared to a c/r line where you will often shut out the 3 players. - Betting out is a weaker line than c/r'ing and you will more often get 3 bets in on the flop using that line as your bet will often get raised. |
