fold push whatever. i hate these spots too. it totally depends. the good news is that our opponents hate this spot alsol.

if i had to make a decision right now in vaccuum im folding

i know what baluga is, and whatever theorems are relatively meaningless IMO. i wish he didnt do this on his first hand at the table, because i obv have absolutely no read on him

err what i mean is that you cant just say - zomg baluga theorem says i must fold. i guess the general concept of theorems is useful, but blindly applying them isnt

But blindly applying them when you're blind might be.

Anyway, think about what he could really be playing this? Probably not a draw, since this is a bad raise amount for a semi-bluff unless he thinks you're double barreling air (which we have no information about). KQ? QJ? I really don't see how an unknown is doing this with a worse hand.

yea, i mean i folded, i just wanted to see if anyone thought differently. i hate giving credit to shortstacks, haha

shortstacks come in all shapes and sizes

the really short guy we can't fold to because hes desperate and will make this move with lots of things

the kind of short guy becomes much more of a fold, simply because the guy who sits with 81bb is probably pretty passive.
