Bad preflop, good turn bet, lucky river. I hate flushmonkeys!

Often MP1 will fold to this river bet if he is smart but your dumb call preflop probably helped disguise your hand.

I would say that also the preflopcall is more then questionable, it's a clear fold IMHO, maybe on the button you could have called but you have to be a good postflop player then. HU the flopcall could be good because you are laying better then 1:10,5 with your four outer and you might be happy to float, now it sucks because of the players still to act behind you. On the turn you have 10 clear outs (9d and Qd probably give someone a house, quads or are already in somebodies hand), you have odds of 1:3,6. So with the IMO you get it is a call.

@Larude: "1:10,5"??? What are you talking about exactly?

@Specialwon: "Good turn bet"? He overcalled the turnbet AI of UTG+1...

As for myself: Fold PF, Fold Flop... MAAAAAAAAAAAAYBE call Turn, probably Fold as well...

I think the preflop call was bad.

The only way I don't auto call that weak ass flop bet from Mp1 is if the UTG is check raise happy. Also this is no limit and we have position on a drawy board that a UTG PFR has checked.

On the turn there's $97.50 in the pot before we call the $33.50. I think the turn is an auto call. I also think our King may also be good here a small % of the time.

pre-fold
flop-fold
turn-fold
river-i guess you got your implied odds so maybe the turn call was not so bad. MP1 must be a huge donk though.

Draw is 9 cards to the nut flush, of which 2 pair the board to give someone a boat, assuming they had trips to start with. Say 8 clean outs. Flat odds say no, but the likelihood of a river bet being called gives sufficient implied odds imho.

Lemming, I don't mind giving my reasons, but you don't give yours. Poster asked to be flamed, but I didn't! Next time, be nice ok?

Wow, some bad advice in this thread.

I could call preflop, but usually it's a fold unless you have some specific reason to be calling here, but typically, just fold.

Everything else looks good. Flop bet it way too small to fold a gutshot + backdoor nut flush draw here. Implied odds from everyone make this call fine.

Turn, you have 10 nut outs and 2 other pretty good outs. UTG might have a set, but MP1 probably doesn't.

So, if you only use your 10 clean outs you need about 3.6:1 from the pot. You have about 3:1, so if you can manage to get $20 in on the river when you hit (that would be a 1/6th pot bet!) then you have all the odds you need.

So, basically, after the small blunder preflop, this hand looks fine.

I'm not crazy about the pfc cuz you're playing to get implied odds,,,maybe....The flop gets weird cuz you have a couple of guys acting after you... The turn to me looks like a shove...Why fold at that point...MP1 might have a set but it doesn't look like one and I don't like calling ther....And most important, I'm not that good so there ))
