Folding a boat?
It's a sng hand, but I like you guys better.
6 man sng, I got 10h9h on the SB. I've been very aggressive so far. Somewhat passive player miniraises in mp, I call, BB calls. Flop AhQh9x. Check-check-minibet. I call. BB folds. Turn is a Q. Check-Check. River is a 9. I bet 225 into a 400 pot, he thinks for a while and goes all in for another 1.2k. What's my play? |

Re: Folding a boat?
This is easy, I folded. But i'll make it harder. By the river raise, I took some time and looked at a hand he played earlier, nearly the exact way with Aces.
By the river raise, I was 90% sure that he had either AA or AQ. Do I go bust everytime with a Q there? |

Re: Folding a boat?
He's also betting with with AK/AJ.
A check/call on the river with a mediocre hand is much more profitable then a bet with a mediocre hand. |
