Default General bankroll question...

Hi.

Is 20 buy-ins still the rule? I plan on 8/9-tabling NL100 with a roll of c.$2k. I used to beat this game for 7 or so bb/100 a few months ago 4 tabling but have been grinding it up at NL50 or so for a couple of weeks from $1k after I cashed it all out. The only problem is that I *really* dont want to go back to NL50 because its hell. Alongside 40% RB (paid weekly) do you think I should look towards 30 or so buy-ins before moving up or is 20 or so ok given that I know I can beat it?

Thoughts?

Cheers.

rather use a 30 bi roll... i donīt know how good you are but rather stick w/ that rule although the 100nl at ftp are really soft atm.
you can start taking shots at 100nl w/ like 25 bi but move down if you donīt run/play well.
btw 50nl is a blast not like hell at all. and if you take a shot for your own sake donīt 8/9 table just play 4 or w/e

if your 9 tabling id say at least 3k, the swings might be a bit a bit too much for a 2k roll

I'd 4 table $100NL with BR as low as $1500. Any thing lower its down to $50NL. And I was never at 7PTBB/100.

Though I'd hate to sit with half of my BR on 9 tables.

I personally use 100 and think 50 should be a minimum.

I like 20 or 25 BI to start with. But I have no problem with moving down. (I play 6 or 9 tables)

i like 30 buyins with ur multi-tabling goals, but tbh, if ur the type that is willing to move down if taking some hits (which u might not be since u don't want to play 50NL) and i have no idea if u play a high/low variance games...yea, i suggest 30 buyins min
