Folding KK
Poker stars 2-4NL
button (480) Hero (600) I have been playing pretty TAG straight forward at this table. I am probably 16/8. Button is 15/3. Nit. I have never seen him 3 bet, but I have seen him limp AKo and Smooth call QQ pf. I raise to 20 from mp3, button reraises to 64, I call 44 more. Flop is 3h 4c 6s (138 in pot) I check, button pushes for 420, I fold. |

Re: Folding KK
What?...........
15/3 over how many hands? Is he massively overbetting the pot with aces in this spot? I am unsure of your read. |

Re: Folding KK
is this against browerkid? browerkid is one of the huggest preflop nits in midstakes games... even more so than mi3zzike (or whatever his name is) from party 3/6.

Re: Folding KK
you realize you called preflop without odds for set value, so why are you folding now?

Re: Folding KK
I am fairly certain I had set value, after his reraise this player is playing for stacks postflop. As you can see by his push.
Yes, he plays AA this way. He *might* play KK this way. I haven't seen him play KK this way. He isn't pushing no pair here. QQ he smooth calls PF. AKo he smooth calls. Its AA or KK. I lose the times we both have KK (he might play KK different). I lose stacks the times it goes set over set, cause im not that good. I didn't even consider folding to the preflop reraise, cause I felt like I had enough equity to go for set value here. How often do I need to be good here for the flop to be a call? I need to win the whole pot around 43% of the time to make calling his flop push profitable. I don't think my hand is best nearly that often. PF is closer than the flop, but I am fairly certain it is a call. |

Re: Folding KK
How many hands have you played with him? Just because he didn't 3bet qq once does not mean he never 3bets it

Re: Folding KK
i dont think that even if you cant completely eliminate QQ here that it means he has it very often
