Default Strategy Differences Starting Chips vs Length of Levels

I was just curious if people had major strategy differences and if so what they were between tournaments that start deep stacked but have faster levels compared to when you have less chips but the levels are longer.
For example compare your strategy for the Friday, Saturday Venetian $550 where you get 10k in chips and levels are 40min. Compared to common WPT prelims where you get 3k in chips and levels are 60 min for a $1500 event.

Default Re: Strategy Differences Starting Chips vs Length of Levels

If you have longer levels and short stack to begin with : crapshoot to start and when people rise their stacks, it becomes more of a postflop game

If you have bigger stack and shorter levels: people won't get eliminated fast but at the end, the play will become more of a preflop game
