Default Re: Cover Design Contest

Hi Guys,

With the contest winding down, here are my thoughts for the SNG submissions.

My favorite covers (not necessarily in order):

1. The black-and-green chip cover by OMGuraBot, no textual overlap, darker version. Very solid and should appeal strongly to the younger male demographic.

2. mkresibow's red Sit 'N Go Strategy title with the letters SNG going diagonally down the cover. Excellent colors and fonts. (Not the yellow one, to be clear.)

3. The stopwatch submission by ZenMusician, no textual overlap. I think this is a very powerful image.

4. Gonso's multi-colored sphere submission, darker version. Very appealing imagery and quite uncluttered.

And I hate to do this, but ...

Covers I strongly dislike:

1. Roxy's highly bland submission, with or without the gun. I find it weak and unappealing, and particularly dislike how SitNGoStrategy is one long word.

2. Badluckfreddy's Chair and "&" submission. The imagery is irrelevant and unappealing.

Anyway, thanks to Mason for holding an awesome contest. Regardless of who wins, I greatly appreciate everyone who took the time to submit and comment.

Best Regards,
Collin

Collin,

Thanks so much for taking the time to weigh your
thoughts in - I'm sure everyone who made a cover
for your book appreciates it.

Thank you for your kind words about my cover.
My only request would be an autographed copy
if Mason picks it up.

A last minute revision: lightened up the back cover, I'm not sure if it looks better or not. Thanks for the feedback Colin and GL everyone. This is a book I am definitely going to get as I am an SNG player. How about free copies to the contest participants??
