Default lol thrown in jail

[ QUOTE ]
"Now, we come to the problem of Rule breakers. It would seem that certain people think that I will overlook certain behavior in the regards to META-GAMING. I placed that in the Rules for specific reasons and certain ones of you have totally ignored that. The following people will be escourted to JAIL and their VOTES tonight, do not count: dkromm, lastchance and LuckayLuck."

...

"Please escourt the offenders to JAIL."

...

Those in JAIL cannot vote until released.
They may not exchange for items or towels.
They may not do any Night actions, if applicable.
They may be Night-killed, Seer or Sorceror viewed.

That's an insane ruleset.

No meta-gaming is laaaaaaaaaaaaaaame though. That's where half of the goddamn game here comes from.

Fake edit: The emphasis on role-playing is weird relative to here but expected, I guess. I should have made that a rule in Tsukihime, that would have ended in high comedy (and Zurvan's head probably explodes).

the cool thing about their site is they have an autocountif()

that is actually very cool
the autocountif also tracks vote numbers and such, so bandwagon analysis is incredibly easy! nich would be in heaven!
the [-] [/-] indicates "strikethrough" or "Cross the name out"
while I'm at it, I would like to rant that 2+2 has no way to show who actually posted what in the [ quote ] tag

OK. Votes 1 through 8 were votes for a person who had none at all.
At this time, it's anybody's game. There's no threat for anybody - except perhaps Xandryyte who a) had LHV and b) had votes 1 and 2. But vote 3 saw an unvote from there.

Vote 5 was Royalflush's vote on WhirlingHurly, the first of them, and it stayed all day.
I'd go so far to say that this was no real pressure there, as nobody had more than one, but everyone *could* have. He didn't have LHV.

Do we think Royal is good, for voting him? No proof.
Do we think Royal is good, for leaving it there?
Indeed, if Royal had checked in at any time of the day he would have seen his partner in trouble and *could* have saved him by moving the vote. Would Royal do that? I don't know. Just as easy to leave it, and look very innocent.

Vote 6 was mine on Royalflush. I kind of wish Id picked someone else, really, cos Occams razor says RF is innocent, although Occams isn't always right.

Vote 7 was LuckayLuck off Lastchance onto me.

Vote 8 was Whirling onto Luthien. Interesting that he had a choice of four players to choose from, including myself, to vote for but did not.
Effectively, he *saved* myself, Kristiefix, Xandryyte and Royalflush by not voting them to save himself. But he probably was not to know yet what was happening.

Vote 9 was Rukasu on Luthien, putting him in the lead.
Is Rukasu protecting anyone? It *is* possible, but is it likely? Is he just applying pressure? And if he is protecting someone, is it protecting Whirly - or someone ELSE in the running?
This is a difficult - unanswerable - situation, I get no lead on Rukasu here.

Vote 10 = Arkibet on Whirly. Ark was good, and puts Whirly in the lead.

Vote 11: Grimjester on Lastchance - putting him back to 1. Did Grim see the tally before voting? I would need to check. He didn't change it though. He definitely saw it later in the day, when he did a timewarp. He definitely would have seen Whirly in the hotseat at that time. I think I need to look at that for more info.

Vote 12: BWT2Q votes Whirly. This doesn't change the situation but it makes Luthien need two votes to save Whirly. I don't think a wolf would ever do this.
BWT: Clear in my opinion.

Vote 13: Luthien - sees the tally at 3 to 2. Votes Kristiefix, putting her at 2. This could be an attempt to take the tally in a new direction.

Vote 14: Lastchance secures Luthien's place in second. Is this a chance to save Whirly? Or perhaps a choice to save Kristie?
Lastchance could be an evil trying to save an evil by presenting an opportunity. He could be a marine just not knowing what his vote meant at that moment, or a good special with an agenda.

Vote 15: LuckayLuck takes the vote on Whirly back up high again. If BWT's vote was dangerous play for a wolf, this is bold and outrageous.
If LuckayLuck is a wolf, he WANTS to take risks!
LuckayLuke: cleared in my opinion.

Vote 16: DBMurph saves threat from Kristiefix, and votes on Whirly.
Could a wolf smell death and want to ride with the boyz?
It *is* possible that evil sense the imminent doom and want part of the credit.

Vote 17: DBM moves to BWT - no offers for explanations.
Vote 18: He moves back. Insecurity? Or just unconfidence?
Unknown.

Vote 19: Xand on Luthien, brings the tally closer.
Vote 20: Kuchick on Luthien gives evil the chance to snipe.

Nobody snipes.

Surely evil squirmed in their 12 onwards (or even 11?) There are several plays that *could* have been a move to save Whirly, but many have a secondary effect which suggests good special.

Right now, I'm deciding whether DBMurph or Kuchick have more vested interest in their action.
I'll think on it as I drive home.
