Default Props anyone?

Forget the game, it's all about the props

Any good values out there?
Help a nut out.

I have so far:
hasselbeck's longest rush, under 8.5 yards +108 (pin)
he's had 6 runs over 8.5 yards all year.

I just threw a bunch on:

Who will have more?
Pittsburgh Panthers Total Points -37.5 (-125)
Pittsburgh Steelers Total Points

Pitt averages about 74 a game.... big time Big East matchup here with GW after Pitt lost its last game to another Big East team, UConn. Pitt's gonna need to score to get back on track here against a solid GW team... If Pitt hits their average points... cha-ching!

Pittsburgh scored 35 in the first half, shot over 50%, things were looking real good.

Pittsburgh scored 23 in the second half, shooting what can only be described as FIVE percent.

58 points, -37.5

I got 20 points to work with... holla!

Just added:

NFL Propositions
Superbowl XL Props
Running Back Props
Total Rushing attempts by Willie Parker
Under 16.5 rushing attempts -127

That's all for me.

Good Luck all. I hope it's a good game.

Why did you use the average Pit score?

Total was set at 130, and GT were 4 point faves. Median score for Pit was about 63 according to the linesmakers.

Steelers are 4 pt faves with a total of 46.5.

Median likely score of Steelers would be about 25.25.

63-25.25 = 37.75.

Line was right where it should be, but at -125 I think you got the bad end of the deal. Good luck tonight.

The line actually went up to -38.5 (-130) before the game.. I was pretty happy with the bet - I thought using the average Pitt score was right on the money - even though it was a conference game, Pitt should have been hungry to win having lost a key conference game UConn last time out. They came out in the first half and played like they wanted it, scoring 35, shooting great, and playing great defense. The second half was the exact opposite of that - there was nothing in the line or anything that told me they would shoot like crap in the second half - the over actually was getting pounded in the half hour leading up to game time from 128.5 to 130, further solidifying my confidence in the wager. Now if they would have scored 35 or more in the 2nd half, I'd be sitting pretty.... it didn't happen, ohwell, I'll make that bet every single time it's offered. Thanks for the good luck wish, you're the best!

I like the Jurevicius one > 29.5 yards. Also liking Hines Ward to catch at least 6 passes.

Fair enough. The reasoning seems to lend itself more towards betting Pit +4 or Over 130, though.
